Dr Facer-Childs is an international expert in the field of sleep, biological rhythms and performance with a particular focus on individual differences. She conducted her training in the UK where she obtained a Masters and PhD and currently leads the Sleep and Performance Program as a Fellow at Monash University. Dr Facer-Childs is also an accredited mindfulness teacher and has training in psychological techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, CBT for insomnia and motivational interviewing.
